The fourth installment in the John Wick saga, starring Keanu Reeves, is one of the most anticipated films in 2024. Its trailer's release on Thursday has already sparked excitement among the fans. Lionsgate the company that produces the film that is behind this film released the trailer on social media platforms, providing the first glimpse of what's to come.
The storyline of the film is largely unknown, but the synopsis reveals it will be a battle royale. John Wick Chapter 4 stream will face his most dangerous adversaries as he takes his fight to The High Table worldwide. The film will include action scenes that will take place in various locations which include New York, Paris, Japan, and Berlin as well as be the longest-running film in the series.
Rejoining the cast include Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane as well as Lance Reddick, while newcomers Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgard, Clancy Brown, and Scott Adkins join the lineup. Skarsgard who plays the villain Marquis de Gramont, has stated that his character is not going to compete with Wick physically however, he will utilize his intellect and knowledge of what he calls the "evil government" to pose a challenge to Reeves the character.
John Wick's universe continues to grow thanks to the spin-off movie, Ballerina, which features Ana de Armas in the main role and Reeves making an appearance playing John Wick. The film is currently in the process of being made and is expected to launch in 2023.
As well as the spin-off, a prequel series titled The Continental is also in the making, which is set to run for three episodes and premiering at Amazon Prime Video. The show will star Colin Woodell as Winston and Ayomide Adegu as the younger character Charon.
As Lionsgate continues to build on their John Wick universe, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of John Wick: Chapter 4 on March 24 2024. With intense action scenes, as well as stars-studded actors this film is certain to live up to its hype.
